Wow, I'm not even sure what to type here.
A local news story is close to my family, and I was reading it on a tv station website. Before I even got to the story, I accidently came across reader's comments. My gall, these strangers no nothing! It feels so odd to read their thoughts and views. I think I'm feeling angry about it. Everything they are guessing at and harshly commenting on, is false! They don't know the subject or what may have happened.
I don't fully know what happened. I'm still feeling shock myself after hearing the news.
All I can say, is I hope I think twice before putting words out there in cyber space. I'm going to keep in mind, that friends or family may read what I've written. How may my careless words effect them? In fact, are my comments even necessary?
I just can't believe this. It feels so weird! Not one reader thought to say, I'm sorry for your loss.
Hmmm, should this have gone on the rant board? I thought news and views was appropriate.

how about posting a link to the website where you found the story? then we could all view and comment. right now, it looks as if you are just spouting for the sake of it, and that's not appropriate for this board, imho.
